PilotWorkshops debuts “Getting Started With Flight Simulation” video training

June 30, 2017 (Nashua, NH) – PilotWorkshops has launched a video training program for pilots called, “Getting Started With Flight Simulation – A Pilots’ Guide To Building Proficiency at Home“.

The program is designed to walk any pilot, step-by-step, through the entire process of purchasing, configuring and successfully using a desktop flight simulator to build and sharpen flight skills.

The series consists of bite-sized videos organized into logical categories. It also includes a resource center with downloads, suggested flights, approved vendors, and even generous discounts on recommended hardware.

PilotWorkshops worked with two renowned experts in flight simulation: Keith Smith and Jeff Van West, who combined their years of actual flight experience with thousands of hours of sim flying to create a program designed to give real pilots everything they need to make productive flights.

“We had a survey where over 38% of pilots said they were interested in doing personal flight simulation for training. What’s holding them back? It’s been too complicated for the average, non-techie pilot to get a well-configured sim, install everything, and teach themselves to fly it,” explained PilotWorkshops Founder, Mark Robidoux.

A pilot who has never touched a sim can watch these videos and by the end of the program, they can be making realistic VFR or IFR training flights with live ATC.
